I recently had my video card die. Luckily I bought a BFG because it had a lifetime replacement warrantee. I thought I would share my experience with them.
1) Called BFG support on Wednesday and got RMA number. 2) Shipped to BFG on Thursday via UPS. 3) They Recieved the board into their warehouse on Friday. 4) Monday my replacement card was waiting for me in my door.
All I can say is this is excellent customer support. I bought this board back in March of 05 and they replaced it after more than two years. The tech told me the type of failure I had is related to having a weak or failing power supply.
You pay a bit more for a BFG card, but in this case I am glad I did. With any other brand, I would now be dishing out another $400 for a new card.
Back in action! Thanks to BFG.

BFG Sucks! (j/k)
What did they send you back? Did they have more 6800's laying around? I have heard stories of people like you that send in a 6800 and they get back a 7800 since that is the closest better card BFG had in stock.
I went with eVGA for my nVidia GPU since they have the lifetime warranty and also honor it after munkies like me strip the heatsink unit off it and watercool it.
There is nothing like a little good customer service to seal a deal for having a loyal lifetime customer. BFG, eVGA, Antec, SuperTalent, Samsung Storage are all on my shortlist of A+ companies to deal with.
