IT has been 8 years and a brain injury has left me without memory and at times a lot of trouble doing things.....this being one.....Right now all I want is to change my name....as I looked up my very first clan and want to wear my old name.....and need or would like to bind it to my p key......
The name I want is this...the tag I want in neon green :|4:20|      ....immediately followed by my name (4thHorseman) in RED (#1) then at the end of my name the same neon green for the  |:           So it will look like this only with the colors.........   :|4:20|:|4thHorseman|:
SO all this in a console command that will bind it to my p key

The first thing on this page is step by step on how to change name and adding colors.
Down the page is stufff for binds and cross hairs and so on. Hope this helps.

Lol. I hadn't seen this thread, but when 4thHorseman asked me about setting colours while on the server last night, I recommended the very same website. Surely two recommendations must make it a winner.

to be honest, i dont undersatnd. You want to bind your F key to nade...as in throw your nade? (or say quick draw). Racking my brain trying to figure out how you could just do that.
let me look into that, cause I do know that all weapons is binded to the keys 1-9.

Ok i see..but I dont know the exact key is nade. it would look something like this:

bind f "weapon ?"       ?=being the number that the nade is.


I do all my binds in the config folder itself, I never bind as im in the game. You learn alot about a config file, by looking at it.

Thank you again..Chic...I cannot remember some things at all, car accident and brain injury, I use to know all you could know about the game, I ran servers, and helped so many people customize their settings, and set the game up for them and now I am just blank I remember almost nothing.....and I know that I need a config.....for many reasons, but again it is very foggy I just know it helps me, and as you said I do remember always doing things in that config then I think re executing it if you change something......but that file is missing and I have no idea how to create one....but I am ok I wanted my name, high jump, nade timer, I have a red lazer sight, but I wish I had it as i once did in a config and I had it set up to be able to change size of dot and colors depending on map. and my nade bound to my f key, and drawgun 0.......so once i use your advice when the server gets up to bind the nade...all I need is the gun sight set up....if I can find some one to help me a little. Many things I tell ya, that I use to do and think nothing at all about it......when you loose them it is not fun....but you do your best and learn to appreciate people who are SOOOOOO kind to help you......makes me smile...PS hope this made sense
