For sof2 definitely not Depends on what you have now, how much of an upgrade this is from that, and if you play very demanding games. Personally I think it's a bit pricey but Alienware usually is, and it's not even the 1080 TI.

Personally I think it's a bit pricey but Alienware usually is, and it's not even the 1080 TI. I agree that if you are only playing sof then no. Also you can get more bang for your buck doing yourself and if the software install looks a little daunting then pay a tech business or person to do it for you which would be a reasonable price. Ask OU812 or some others for some help. Maybe your case and power supply are adequate and just a new mobo, ram, chip, gpu and ssd storage would be needed. Lets see if we can get some feed back on a build. Nothing wrong with that rig just think you could get more for you money...

DISCLAIMER: I am not an expert so feel free to comment.
This is a quick build including today's prices just to show you can get a better rig for the same price. 3 key upgrades in this example are the CPU, Mobo and ram. Also in this build the 1070ti has almost same performance as the 1080 for $300 less but stepping up to the 1080ti for $400 more is a big upgrade. I am no expert but with a little research and general gaming knowledge I would build for myself.
CPU Intel Core i7-9700K ($400.00)
Motherboard Gigabyte Z390 Gaming SLI ($155.00)
Video Card GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB ($500.00) Memory Corsair 2x8GB Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4-3200 ($143.00)
Solid-State Drive Crucial MX500 1TB M.2 ($135.00)
Case Thermaltake Suppressor F31 Tempered Glass Edition ($100.00)
Power Supply EVGA Supernova 650 G2 ($80.00)
CPU Cooler Noctua NH-U14S ($64.00)
Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 Flash Drive ($139.00)
Fan Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.black.swap ($25.00)
TOTAL: $1741.00
Ram MHZ is important as well. It doesnt state for Alien what MHZ. Could only be 2133 MHZ or 2666 MHZ which would greatly limit performance. Also doesn't say what Mobo they are using which is also hugely important. This build here has the i7-9700K chip as well which is a better chipset. If you dont need case or power supply you could save yourself another $180.00. Having said that you will need 650W plus if yours is less.
Hope this helps to show what is possible.

King i got the same warning and have a nice rig and video card. Missing a shader. Try updating driver for Vid card and if that doesn't work then re-install. Depends on rest of rig whether you should get a new video card. In the long run a new rig for performance, quality and price is my recommendation. But then what do i know lol. Maybe give us your specs and we can see what you are dealing with.

I'm still using a i5 2500K cpu that I bought years ago paired with a GTX960 gpu. I haven't played in of those newfangled modern games lately though
